Acer
Acer's Chromebook 315 continues the company's tradition of affordable, intriguing Chromebooks, with several points of interestingness. Information technology's Acer's first Chromebook with an AMD CPU and integrated Radeon graphics. IT's also a relatively mammoth Chromebook, with a 15.6-inch video display (near have displays ranging from 11 to 14 inches). But the price is worth noting, too: as low as $279.99, the company aforesaid at CES 2019 in Las Vegas.
The Acer Chromebook 14 (CB3-431-C5FM) and the Chromebook Spin 11 have both shot well under the $500 price point, but the Chromebook 315 aims even bring dow. Acer hasn't revealed all of the minimum eyeglasses of what it's career the CB315-2HT, but we hump that at that place's a non-touchscreen option, the CB315-2H. In that location's also "upwardly to" 8GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage.
Acer What we seaport't seen before, however, is a Chromebook based upon an AMD C.P.U., and there's now cardinal for Acer Chromebook 315 customers to choose from: the AMD A6-9220C and the AMD A4-9120C. Both lineament integrated Radeon graphics, indeed on that point's some hardware acceleration for tasks equal video recording and much low-end games—remember, ChromeOS devices can now run Mechanical man apps, too.
It's contingent that offloading some of the multimedia system apps has had a positive effect on battery life, besides. Acer's touting awake to ten hours, which would spinning top the Chromebook 14's shelling life by about an hour or two.
Perhaps the simply obvious drawback is the display. Though it's a goodly 15.6 inches, information technology's allay just a 1080p (1920×1080) resolution. That's probably pure for an educational twist, and bequeath have a positive impact on battery living. The big screen will put up a broader canvas for videos and other smug as well. Only blowing up the 1080p resolution to a bigger display volition have a negative bear on on the number of pixels per inch, meaning textual matter and images wish appear slightly blurrier than normal.
Acer Separate features of note include a pair of upward-facing speakers that flank the keyboard, and the use of a geminate of USB-C ports for charging and show. The keyboard is backlit, accordant to Acer, though only on the touchscreen model.
